Modernization Shield Fit Review

Tell us what you're running and what's pressuring you. We'll do the homework and reach out within two business days to schedule a 30-minute conversation about whether Modernization Shield fits the decision in front of you.

What this is

A fit review is a 30-minute conversation about your environment, what's driving you to look at it now, and whether Modernization Shield is the right next step. It's a conversation to see if there's a fit, with no commitment.

Before the call, we read your submission and do enough research on your company and your stack to walk in prepared. The call is the deliverable.

What it isn't

It isn't a free assessment. It isn't a written deliverable. It isn't a Modernization Shield engagement.

A real diagnostic takes 7 to 10 business days, runs the engine against your actual codebase, includes architectural review and stakeholder interviews, and produces a written Legacy Modernization Risk Report. That's what Modernization Shield is for. The fit review is a conversation that helps you figure out whether you want one.

How it works

Fill out the form below. It takes about two minutes. You don't need to send source code, credentials, connection strings, or anything under NDA -- a few sentences about the system and your stack versions are plenty for a first read.

We read the submission, research your stack and your situation, and reach out by email within two business days to schedule a 30-minute call. The call happens by phone, by video, or in person if you're in Atlanta.

What it costs

Nothing. If the conversation surfaces work worth doing, we'll talk about a Modernization Shield engagement at the standard $15,000 to $20,000 fixed fee. If it doesn't, the call ends and that's that.

About two minutes. Your name, work email, and company are required. Please check at least one item under "What's prompting you to look at this now?" so we know what's driving the request. Everything else helps Jerry prepare, so skip anything you'd rather cover on the call.

About you
Your environment

If this concerns a target or a portfolio company, unknowns are normal -- and unknowns are findings. Answer what you can and skip the rest.

If multiple versions are in play, pick the one that matters most. We'll get into the rest on the call.

If you're on multiple versions, pick the one that's most exposed. If SQL Server isn't in the picture, say so.

If there's something specific (Entity Framework version, a particular UI framework, integrations that matter), mention it here. Otherwise leave blank.

A few sentences is fine. What are you trying to figure out, decide, or get unblocked on?
