View the sample Legacy Modernization Risk Report.
The SocialGoal Legacy Modernization Risk Report (LMRR) is a complete sample Modernization Shield deliverable, produced from an open-source ASP.NET MVC 5 application. It demonstrates the score, the Risk Register, and the sequencing guidance a technical leader receives from a real engagement.
A sample deliverable from a public-codebase teardown: no client, no sponsor, no live database, no stakeholder interviews. What it shows is methodology and deliverable quality, not commercial adoption.
The headline: where the system stands today
SocialGoal scores 44 out of 100, Red zone: modernization must precede any AI initiative beyond read-only, sandboxed analysis. The dominant risk is obsolescence.
Zone scale: Red 0-49, Yellow 50-79, Green 80-100.
Inside the report: the Risk Register
The register runs to 16 findings, consolidated from 194 raw engine findings with senior architect rulings and false-positive corrections applied. Every entry carries probability, impact, priority, confidence, and an automation level that says how much came from the engine versus the architect.
One finding is worth singling out. The engine rated R-003 Critical. The senior architect contested it, de-rated confidence to 4 out of 10, and wrote down why. In v1.1 the prescribed code read confirmed the contestation -- composition-root wiring, not a bypass -- and the finding was re-rated Low. The dispute and its dated resolution both ship in the register. That is what separates a signed report from a generated one.
Inside the report: sequencing guidance
Section 3 lays out four phases -- safety gate first -- with a trajectory from the measured 44 baseline to a directional (non-binding) 88. The engine produces no effort, timeline, or cost figures. In a real engagement those are scoped from the deal, and the report says so.

When you're ready
This is a real system, scored from a public codebase anyone can check. The point of a Modernization Shield engagement is to produce one of these for yours -- scored against your actual codebase and schema, in 7 to 10 business days, at a fixed fee of $15,000 to $20,000. It is a diagnostic, not a sales pipeline: fixed scope, nothing sold on the back of it, and if the system is not ready -- or not a fit -- the report says so plainly. The fastest next step is to tell us about your situation: check fit for Modernization Shield, and Jerry will respond personally within two business days.
